When parents cannot make child support payments on time, the situation can be troubling for a number of reasons. For example, those unable to pay may face prison time and stiff financial penalties, among other setbacks. Also, custodial parents who are owed child support may not be able to buy school supplies for their child, cover medical expenses or take care of other needs. In Belleville, Illinois, parents who are facing any problems related to child support should immediately attempt to resolve the issue.

Known for his music and appearances on the reality show Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, rap artist Yung Berg was recently sued for failing to pay almost $100,000 in child support. Courts revealed that the rapper, who reportedly owes $99,386 in child support, failed to appear in court for a hearing regarding the case.

Furthermore, the musician’s child support obligations may be increased to $700 per month as a result of his current earnings. Yung Berg has worked with a number of famous musicians, including Nicki Minaj and Tamar Braxton.

From child support modification to the filing of a lawsuit, people who are dealing with child support matters may have a number of decisions to make. Regardless of the course of action a parent decides to take, it is pivotal to address these issues as soon as possible and look into every available option. For some parents, talking to a knowledgeable legal professional can be very beneficial and help them identify the best way to handle their circumstances.
